Male adult of Heleniella reginae sp. n. is described based on material collected by Malaise traps placed along the glacial stream of Mutt (Swiss Alps, upper Rhône basin). Distinctive specific characters include in particular: anal tergal bands absent; virga composed of two long rods, thick basally fused apically; sternapodeme lacking lateral horn-like projection; anal point short and wide, with apex composed of six small lobes; inferior volsella broadly semicircular and distinctly enlarged. The new species resembles to H. assiana Moubayed, 2026. They appear both to be considered as two sister species.
